these are my favorites...I think the artillery crew figures are some of the best poses I have ever seen for an artillery crew...

As a newby to this niche of miniatures and a long time fan of Napoleonics, I dipped on JJD until my friendly dealer tipped me to the compatibles of the War of 1812. The gunners, agreed, are dramatic, but my favorite must be the horse teams and limbers/wagons. (Would delight in a couple of outriders for RHA of course). These for me are easily the (out)match of anything around for detail and quality. The drummer of the Scots Regt is my favorite human figure, the face full of expression. {sm3}{sm3}

hard choice, at last this is my contribution

My favorite depends on what I'm looking at. I bounce back and forth between John's outstanding FIW Indians, the POA figures, and the beautiful Hielanders from the '45. I guess my favorite would have to come from the Jacobite series and would either be JR-09, the Jacobite officer with the two pistols, or the Jacobite swinging the two-handed sword, from the JR-16 set. Both these are just spectacular figures in pose and especially the complex tartan painting. I still think the whole Jacobite series is the best thing on the TS market, for figures. -- Al

Blacksmith!!!

I like too many of them to choose. I don't own him, because I don't collect the Jacobite, but that figure who is tossing away the musket and drawing his sword is one of my favorite poses. Very dramatic.

My favorites are the Highlanders of the '45. - Too hard to pick best looking of the lot.

I'm glad to see that my favorite is on a couple of other people's list also.

For me the best looking figures are the Jacobite Highlanders along with The Battle of Snowshoes Indians.
Not able to pick only one favorite out of them :smile2: :wink2:

let me add this one, beautifully detailed and intricated as I hope to see more shortly

RR-20. Haven't had much time to spend on the boards or with my hobby, but these rangers arrived this week. The sculpting and the painting of the faces on both these figures is simply superb. Massive improvement over earlier releases. Painting caucasian faces is not easy, they often appear "ghoulish" or greyed out or Joan Rivers - like, but not these figures.

Yes the Jacobites for me too and the officer with the pistols, poised going forward with his coat swirling is the best. I was very impressed to see that the second wave had some incredible figures JR19, 20 and 22 are all so action packed. A fantastic line that got me into the hobby!

Been thinking about this one and very hard.

Lots of very good ones in the Jacobite series and also liked one of the French flagbearers in the POA series but will go for :

Capt. John Jenkins of the Glengarry Light Infantry, "The Hero Of Ogdensburg", The War of 1812, Club Figure.
