How will you establish that it is from a player and if you can, I suspect much will depend on which player.

I would think you would be looking at Sotheby's, Christie's etc. for those types of auction. I think that would also be your best way to guarantee it's authenticity.

well a lot of players donate their jersey for some charity auction that way you know that this is real jersey from a player because h eis giv eit to you personaly,....or you get it from the post by him and with his signuture,...i think all that is original from player and it must be worth more than if you buy it from the supermarket,store,shop,...

Game worn jerseys tend to be very expensive and if you're looking for a Slovenian one, I don't think it would be cheap because probably many of your countrymen would like to purchase one also.

I can only say that several teams that I follow do donate their game worn Jerseys for Charity Auctions and are up for bid in the Auction section of the particular Teams official website . I'm sure the team you are interested in should have a website that could lead you in the right direction.
