What is this symbol - Nazi or Asian??? (1 Viewer)

A friend asked me to research this symbol that is on a silver bar he has. He is concerned that it is a nazi symbol. It really doesn't look like it to me - looks more asian to me.
The bar was minted in the 1980s.
What do you think? The dome and the plant guide me away from Nazi - I've never seen anything like that.

I certainly cannot say without any precision but it looks like it might be Hindu or Polynesian to me.

Without saying you’re last post, I was going to say Hindu. Unfortunately, the Nazis corrupted this symbol.
