After seeing the Knight on the First Legion website I'm so confused about what line to collect next??

I love the Civil War, I grew up in Virginia, had relatives who fought in the Civil War, know alot about it, and the new line of Civil war soldiers look awesome!!

the Revoltionary War has always been a interesting reading point for me, love the British uniforms, and just the history of that battle, plus my boy George Washingtons bithplace and childhood home is only about 30 minutes from where I grew up in Virginia, so another toughy.

and now it looks like the latest line maybe knights/sacs maybe?? no real word yet, but since I can only afford a second line besides my true love of WWII the arms and armies of WWII that is, what line to go for??? I'm leaning towards Knights if it happens, but really love the Civil War guys a well, what to do:rolleyes:...Sammy

Good luck with that one. Very hard decisions, but remember - you can't collect everything. :)

These are really very beautiful figurines.
Now I too am wondering how I should direct my collection!:confused:
Maintaining only NPA which make some intrusions into other lines????:rolleyes:
Because of Matt, I do not know !!!!!!!:mad: solution "to earn and redeem casino company FL Matt ... '
Thank you again for the photos and good collection.

It is sure going to be tough times making a decision on which way to go!

I've hundreds if not at least one thousand K&C figures I would say 65% WWII and 35% Napoleonics.

Napoleonics have and will always be my favorite period : now 100% of my FL figures are Napoleonics.

With the little smallish increase in price with the recent highlanders, if FL can deliver this new range (medieval times) at the same competitive price, I'll be in with my 2 legs that's for sure. I might also collect some samurais at the same time.. let's not forget the orient.

However for me FL WWII and AWI are out .. for now.. tough decision but sometimes you have to chose :)

A final thought : with my FL napoleonics, I'm trying to get at least 3-4 figures of each regiment FL did and will produce : it might looks odd to a traditional collector of nap figures but that's what I prefer : to have some of each range.. more variety in a display. I might do the same with all other ranges produced by FL : get at least 3-4 figures in each one. Like collectors of Aeroart figures are doing most of the time : they're not collecting in order to display in a diorama setting but more to display each figure for itself.

Since i got my highlanders today
i will stick with Naps
Have to fill in the ranks
WW2 is KC
AWI i'm druling
i can only do so much( space, money)
still filling ranks for 1st foot
need two ranks of highlanders
have my artillery in place
waiting for Wellington & company
maybe a little AWI , maybe
It's very tough to say no
but discipline is in priority here
after awhile where u put all these figures?

I'm with you Alex, That is the way I collect. For right now, it is all Napoleonic. ACW is going to be worth an investment or two.

For me it will be:

selected Naps

all WWII

all AWI

all ACW

all Samurai

all Crusaders.

Yeah yeah I know....but hey, you only live once.

Now that sounds like a plan
You're going to be one busy man :D

Yes I know...but I just love these figures. I thought I could stay away from the Crusaders but when I saw the stuff evolve, I knew I couldn't.

Naps is really very selective only - must have no more than 60, 70 pieces.

If I cut/be selective in any other range, it will be Stalingrad..

Samurai is my prime period.

I guess you are in then with both legs.;):D According to Matt in the Crusader thread, "final pricing hasn't been set, but will generally be in the $49.95 range with a few figures being a bit more than that due to additional complexity".

This was one of the lines that I knew would suck me in so I guess my Napoleonics are going to have company.

For me, it will be mostly AWI. I might add some more Napoleonics to the small number I have. Some of the upcoming Crusaders might be stand alone pieces set individually on small wood bases.
