Just two related questions. First, what makes a 'classic' collectable vehicle or figure (set)?....such as...limited production..specific name of vehicle or person modeled...no other mfg making this one...unbelievable detail and quality???? And, secondly, what recent releases by king or hb or figarti will probably warrant 'classic' status in the near future?...I, personally, have a King Winter Tiger..and a King and Country 88. I know these spout premium prices and they are special to me..but what is the common thread to any classic item..and, again..which ones are becoming classic now..or when released, will be classic?...thanks, ahead of time for your opinion...paul

All of the factors you mention play a part, but I think it just comes down to the character of the piece. IMO, if a model is made in too small a run to be readily available, it probably never becomes a classic. Certainly the Winter Tiger and 88 with both sets of gun crews are classics and most people would recognize them as such. Rommel's GRIEF may be another. But I don't think there are very many that qualify as a classic. If considering True classics in K&C WW@, I expect there are only 6 or 7?
