Being new , here and just starting
do i go with 1/72 or 1/32
seems to be more choice in 1/72 , but tried this before with figures and seemed a bit fiddly

i have seen some in both sizes ai would like to have a go at

foreign legion and arabs look good , remember airfix fort sahara as a child and the britains ones

the ffl is the best action man i have so , thats winning in my choice at the moment

Not a whole lot in FFL in 1:32 glossy

Beau Geste does have some very nice FFL figures however.

Must concur with thebritfarmer, 1/32 is where it's at for glossy metal.IMHOAlso
And Scott has a great BG set also that he could show you...BG seems to be fantastic for nice clean figures, especially FFL. Wadepat will show you the way also. Have fun!

At your command Mike. Here is my Beau Geste FFL set. I recently won this in a competition. They are very nice figures, they have a good weight to the and are painted beautifully. Randy & Pat can certainly add more Beau Geste as I think they both have quite a few varied figures from the company.

Enjoy :)

Hi Tallyho,

Welcome to the Treefrog Toy Soldier Forum. It is always great to see another collector who appreciates the glossy figures. By participating on the forum, you will make some great friends, many of whom can offer you excellect advice and consultation. Being a member of our forum adds a new dimension to your hobby experience which I am sure you will quickly appreciate.

I collect a wide variety of figures, many of which are glossy. Much of my collection consists of figures depicting the 1903 Delhi Durbar, however, my collection is by no means limited to only that event. Some of my favorite glossy toy soldier companies are: Beau Geste, William Hocker, Monarch Regalia, and W. Britains. If I can answer any questions or offer opinions on the products of any of the above companies, please let me know. In the meantime...

Visit the forum often and post frequently. I look forward to further interaction with you!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)
