Yo Troopers, got to come in this one lol, well could an ex Tankie stay out
.
My two have to be the two I served in. First the Centurion what a machine, lucky for me the Great German firm Minichamps made one in 1/35th Diecast, if you haven't seen their models man they are stunning. The Cent is a working model runs on the tracks, independent suspension, Turret traverses 180 degrees, and the gun elevates up and down. The other one I want badly is the Conqueror, what a beast
, 65 ton and could move faster that the Cent accross country. ONLY one firm does this model in 1/35th and its superb, but it comes in kit form
. Think I could put it together but couldn't do it justice paint wise, so not knowing any painters
doesn't look like I will ever get it. The conqueror is made by www.accurate-armour.com and if you want to see a really excellent collection of Toy Tanks have a look at this site. www.mikes-tanks.com he has them all, and from all the makers. MOUNT UP.
Bernard.
