What's happening out there with Figarti?? there are rarely any discussions going on anymore on this thread but once in awhile someone mentions the railgun, I love Figarti products (I don't own alot of them) but they are very nice, just like to see some more input on what's coming up or maybe some plans of thiers down the road, her's hoping to hear from the guys soon...Sammy

Whoops, I didn't notice someone back on jan. 12th mentioned this same theme, my bad, ...Sammy

Maybe this is all a tactic to entice people to save up enough for the railgun... :)

I'm sure later this year there will once again be more new products released than any of us could possibly afford, so patience friend.

The soul-less consumer treadmill has to stop every once in a while for a breather, otherwise we will never have time to enjoy what we already own, which is already probably more than any of us will ever need or should be rightfully entitled to own.

hopefully after Chinese new year, there will be a different intensity on the Figarti front.

after the wonderful occasion of Shock & Awe, these few months had became Wait till Bored.:(

Any news on the Medical Tent, Medics & wounded personnel, and others featured at the Chicago "Shock & Awe." How about the Storch?...will all these end in a whimper?
N-P

Guys,
As the Figarti team are on Chinese New Year hols I'll fill in what I know until they can reply.
The medical tent and wounded set are shipping as we speak.
The Storch is underway (ie in production) as is the V-2 refuelling truck. I'd prefer Rick et al to give dates but 1st quarter is realistic (yes I know that's like now)
All the figure sets shown in Chicago are now either in production or shipping.

So if I'm right the outstanding prototypes shown in Chicago without a schedule ( or maybe there is but I'm unaware) are the Pzkw1V type J ,the M3 recovery tank and the winter "Short Tom" howitzer.

One of the issues which makes it seem as if there's a delay is the shipping.
Whereas airmail is only 3 to 4 days it is very expensive, particularly when as with the Tents there is a alot of packaging space which although necessary is a redundant cost factor.
Seafreight is much more economic but takes between 6 and 8 weeks to arrive.
So it's the age old cost equation.
Hope that helps a little.
Regards
Clive:)

thanks Clive for the update, been long due coming.

looks like the Pzkw1V type J won't be coming out anytime in the first quarter.

that's lesson learnt for me.

i won't get myself too excited over prototypes in the future.

sincerely.
