What Workbench figures are you waiting for? (1 Viewer)

I was thinking while looking at the images on First Legion's Workbench that there are a lot of great future figures there. So, I would like to ask, what are you guys looking forward to? I don't mean to start a wishlist thread, but out of the figures shown on the Workbench, which ones excite you most?

I would have to say the ones I am most ready to see are the finalized French Cuirassiers. The couple of preview images are outstanding, with very dynamic posing. Can't wait to see them 'in the flesh' as they charge the British Guards.

Any thoughts or opinions?

Good question Noah and there is much to chose from and no wrong answer IMHO.:D I would have to go with the kneeling British Guards and the Cuirassiers, both of which I have been (hopefully) patiently requesting for some time.;):D I must say though that the Russian infantry poses and detail are most impressive, as is the case in spades for the three mounted personality figures. Of course, it is no secret my wish list goes beyond what is currently on the workbench.;):D

For me it’s the Russian and Württemberg line infantry. The Russian artillery set would be the next item, followed by the two mounted generals.

However, I would not be disappointed to see any of the previewed figures finally become available. It all looks good!!! :D

Good choices as these are all either in production or slated for production and everything you just listed will be available this year for sure, most of it this summer!

It's a real shame that the reality of the toy soldier business prevents us from keeping our workbench up to date. I try to throw something on there every once and again just to show some of the new stuff, but you guys have to realize that for every figure/release on there, there are so many more that aren't. I guess surprises are nice too though and we've got several coming soon! :D

Matt-
I can certainly appreciate that. I just wanted to see what people were looking forward to, without starting another 'wishlist' thread. It is unfortunate, with business realities, that you can't 'preview' most all upcoming items. Still, you do have a great number of items on the workbench that get the imagination going.

Keep up the good work.

I thought Noah and I had pretty good choices too.;):D

The surprises are fine by me. I think more than a few us are counting on some of our favorites to eventually show up that way.:D

To answer your question Nassau and Brunswick Infantry and Currasiers.

I recieved the last of My British Gaurds today the Mounted Colonel. I left him until last as he didnt appeal to me initially. I have to say that he is the best figure in the range by far exceptional in fact awesome Painting. This was my first FL mounted unit what can I say I am delighted.

bring on the Gaurds Chassuers and the Currasiers.

Be nice to see Uxbridge and some Lifegaurds will buy everything you do for Waterloo Matt provided its not wearing a skirt or riding a Grey Horse. Not sure if the budget will allow me to do the same with the Stalingrad stuff.

We all know that the English won the battle single handed. ( Joke )

King am I Ozymandius; "look upon my works ye mighty and despair".

My next order is on your desk Mr Matt

I would like to see any of the German State's troops or the Russian Artillery

Good for you mate, I agree on the Guards and Grey horses and the rest of Waterloo. Thankfully, the 95th Rifles and many French Dragoon regiments were at Waterloo.;):D
