Hello Rick or Nick:

I hope things are okay at ONWTC these days. What's going on? It's been a long time since we've heard from you guys. Everything okay? We haven't seen a new WWII release since Chicago 2006.

Is there any new WWII stuff coming down the like? If so, what and when?

Thanks,

Carlos

I too would like to know, I like your product and have bought all your WW2 releases.
Gary

I like the ONWTC soldiers also, it would be good to hear about future WWII releases. Mike

I like them too,

but I heard somewhere today they're done since Ken Osen has dedicated his fine arts to Britians.

Tell me the aint so Joe, I mean Rick.

Hi Carlos,
We are still alive and well here. I personally have been working on the US launch of the new Black Hawk Toy Soldier line for Custer's Last Stand (launching this weekend July 15th at the Michigan Show) and the upcoming Del Prado American Civil War series for which I have been consulting with them and Osprey on.

On the ONTC front we concentrating on our WWI series right now. The new Renault tanks sets are now available on the ONTC website. We also have a new worn torn tree set that will posted for sale there this week. Doug has just finished up two British soldiers for our Mark IV tank and he has also just finished our four piece French infantry set. Both of these will be previewed at the July 15th show and then off to the factory for production. Our German infantry set is at the factory now and is due in about 4-6 weeks. Also in the works is the German AV7 tank and figures, a German version of the Mark IV and a four figure Doughboy set which is nearing completion. World War II is on the back burner until we get all these sets into the market place. We are planning to revisit WWII late this year, early next year. Also some exciting ACW sets in the works for later this year.
Take Care,
Rick Berry

Hi Gary,
As I stated in my reply to Carlos World War II is on the back burner until we get our planned WWI sets into the market place. We are planning to revisit WW2 late this year, early next year.

It ain't so Joe! We are still alive and well although WW2 is on the back burner until later this year. Go WWI for now, you won't be disappointed.

Thank Carlos! Don't collect WWI? You should!

Don,t worry, I collect WW1 and already have your tanks ordered from George. Looking forward to more WW1 releases.
Gary

Since WW2 is slated for later this year or next year , can you give us any idea on what we might expect to see released? Figures, gun crews Etc.
Thanks.

A suggestion - we could use some nice metal or resin "large 54mm" M1 Garand rifles for those of us who like to do conversions or upgrade the plastic Conte figures. Many of the M1s are nicer in the original metal moldings and the plastic ones could use upgrading/replacing. The rifle with my unpainted US grenade throwing infantryman is a very nice start, it just needs to have the hand removed (and to cost less than buying a $15.00 figure just to get the rifle).

I just unpackaged my new W.Britains WWII Whermacht sets, 17875 Firing set #1 and 17900 Cover fire set#1 and set them up with my ONWTC Whermacht figures. These additional poses really flesh things out.
I had already done the same thing with my ONWTC Fallschirmjager and the sets released by W.Britain from the last catalog and because I sculpted all of these, the compatibility is seamless.

Ken,

Couldn't agree more and I've done exactly the same, except that I got the ONWTC kit version of the FJs. Got them assembled, trimmed and filled, and will start getting them painted in the same colour / pattern scheme as the W. Britains FJs.

We can never have enough FJs. :)

According to us toy soldier collectors the entire second world war was fought by elite units of Germna FJ's and Waffen SS, British Paras and American airborne. The ordinary units just don't seem to have been there at all

Infantry? Hmmm.....think I've heard of them. Where those the guys who wore the incredibly drab uniforms in grey and mucky green? :D

I'm just a sucker for camo I guess.

Simon

Yes
Apparently they took part in WWII as well I am relaibly informed.

You must have missed our ONTC set ETO-10 "Fire and Maneuver" 5 German Wehrmacht in Action. We try to give equal time to all units.

I must confess Rick. I don't own that set. The last one I got was teh Hell machine which is Waffen SS. Still you WWI tanks are on the way to sunny South Africa as we speak.
