Where's the Master Sergeant/ Top Shirt?? (1 Viewer)

I just got promoted to Sgt Major and have to wonder- where did the Master Sergeant/ Top Shirt go?? I was a Sgt First Class, top NCO at the platoon level, now, hey man, I am running a battalion!!!

Anyway, it appears we jump from E-7 to E-9. I told my old man it took me 3 months to make SGM and it took him 19 years to make Master Sergeant- he must be a slacker!!!

BTW- Not sure if you guys are aware but there is a top NCO position in the Army- known as the Sergeant Major of the Army- he is actually an E-10- the only one we have and stationed at the Pentagon. I recommend that we have a Sergeant Major of the Forum- someone who exemplifies the great tradition of the NCO and my recommendation would be Kilted Vampire, EAZY, Wraith or FUBAR, they add a great deal to all facets of this forum. Besides, all these generals and other brass running around on this forum, we need to even out the playing field otherwise things are never going to get done.

Hi Chris,

I think you will actually be the S-3 NCOIC. Have to suffer a little before you can be the top dog of the BN.

As for CSM of the Forum thats a very good idea. We may have to pick someone like Wadepat. What do you think?
