Three polystone models of the Sd.Kfz 232 Panzerspahwagen have been made to date by TCS, K&C and New Model Army. First Legion has made a Resin/Mixed Material model. All the model seem to be accurate as to detail but seem to vary in scale. The K&C and New Model Army versions are of early manufacture circa 2005 and may be 1/32 rather than 1/30 scale. The TCS version seems to be about 1/28 scale. Which of the polystone models of this iconic vehicle do you consider most accurate?

Accurate how? The K&C and NMA are 1:32 and are very old models without some of the detail on models today. They don't even have the bedframe antennae. I don't think they compare.

Terry; the early version had the bedframe antenna, the later versions used a star antenna. I agree age is a factor; but those are the only three available in polystone. The First Legion is Resin according to the reviews I have read. The TCS is the most recent version and I believe it is 1/28 which is fine for use with the current generation of figures! Considering detail and qualty they all look well made and representitive of the type. I would expecy Thomas Gunn to come out with one as they are heavy into recon vehicles and the Sd.Kfz 232 was in use throughout WWII. Grey to tricolor camouflage. Whats not to like! My New Model Army version came with a star antenna.

I wouldn't disqualify the FL model because it is resin. I think it is the best of an iconic model with the bedframe antennae. It's the most detailed and probably the most accurate of the very limited choices. It has some drawbacks for me. The cost, the grey colour being too light and I've heard some breakage on shipping problems.

I doubt we will see K&C, TGM, Figarti, or Britains doing the bedframe so if anyone really wants one it's FL or TCS
