Last night I was working on a few figures from Esci's 1/35 scale Warsaw Pact set and couldn't help but notice the difference in sculpting quality between it and the Spetsnaz set. I think it would be a great candidate for an update. Are there any other sets that come to mind that could use re-vamping?

PS - Does anyone know who currently owns the molds to this set?

Don't know who has the molds, perhaps Italeri still have them
The NATO troops from that same series would beneift from a revamp, as the scale of the troops within it were all over the place. - All could do with upscaling to a healthy 1/32 as well ;)

The old ESCI figures aren't bad but they are a small 1/32nd. It's like they were meant to with either 1/35th or 1/32nd, so they don't really go with either.

Yes, bit of an odd choice of scale for toy soldiers, as there were plenty of 1/35 kit figures around at the time of release from Esci / Italeri, Tamiya and others.

I'm with you on both counts. It also drove me crazy that the NATO set never had any Italians or Germans despite them being included on the box artwork!
