Would you like to see?.Yes i know i'm jumping the gun as we have only just started with the figures. But i just watched a Line of fire programme on Cambrai, and now i really want some WW1 armour!;).The tanks i'd like to see most are the British MKV and the Whippet. How about you guys?.

Mother Male Mark IV

That German tank that ONTC is doing as well- not sure of the name of it.

Any of the french.

Would love some of the classic British 'Landships' of that war. After their less than brillant start at the Somme theywent onto greater success at Cambrai and Amiens.I can just imagine how well Andy could reproduce one of these monsters.

Er ok then, but who would like to see one of those big box like German monsters that faced off the (i think)Australian tank crew across the fields of Cambrai.

Rob

The german tank was a Sturmpanzercraftwagen A7V. It had an 18 man crew and was so heavy that it immediately bogged down. I had a metal one Toy Army Workshop produced in a small 54mm scale, and it was huge. I cannot imagine one in polystone.

I see what you mean.I suppose its like the Horsa Glider syndrome, just too big.I really like the Toy Army version though, was such a shame they went under.

Hi Guys,

I am really looking forward to some of the sets due out from Old Nothwest. I would love to see Mark IV, V with and without fascines and the Whippets along with some of the French ones like the St Chamond. It would also be great to get these with crews and some personality figures of the Commanders and other important folks.

One day I hope!

All the best

Dave

I agree with Dave. I'm really looking forward to those tanks and hope that the Renault is out soon. I hope they get the A7V out soon although it doesn't sound likely since they only have prototype for the Mark IV right now.

And then theres Artillery! I would be most happy if Ordanance were to send us A British QV 13pounder and a 9.2inch Howitzer. For mobile infantry support and Trench destruction you understand.:)

Since K&C just accounced the upcoming release of an early WWII version of a French 75 for ther FOB range, I would suspect that we can expect one of these for the WWI range.

Ah yes. That would be cool.We have one in a Blue/Grey colour at the IWM.The new FOB version is a must have and was a factor in me starting to collect the series.
