Don't forget these Randy :)

I think the new 24th foot figures would make a nice barracks scene ala Zulu Dawn :)

I missed these--thanks--a great year ahead for glossy 19th c colonial collectors.

I agree Randy.....have you seen the beautiful new matte Zulu figures? or the new figures from the Museum collection?

Yes--I wrote the insert card for the 1st 1/2 (1775-1900) of the new USMC Museum Collection that will eventually cover all the way to the present: AWI, Barbary Coast Wars, 1812, Mexican-American War, ACW, Spanish-American War/Philippines, Boxer Rebellion, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, War on Terrorism.

The Zulu surgeon set is a must have for me!

Very nice guys thanks for posting  so Scott will you be treating yourself to a set of these? They kinda mix your glossy collection of ceremonial figures with your Zulu collection surely a must have for you?

If I can swing it I will definately be getting a set. I think they could be used as a stand alone set, perhaps make some kind of glossy camp Zulu dio or even have them displayed in a ceremonial display with Queen Victoria. Multi fuctional :D :D

How about having the 24th in England departing in 1875 for South Africa? You've got the band and color guard and you could get 20 or so of the marching figure. It would be great to have a photo of a steamship in the background too. Is there a glossy Vicky from that period? Maybe you could commission Ken to make one.

Imagine 100 of these on the docks. How about using several of the K&C jetty?
Man would that be cool:)

Hopefully we'll see an officer added. My guess is that this will be how glossy AZW is developed since the others are now basically retired. I be the white helmets will sell well.

Sounds great Randy, Britains did make a glossy Queen Victoria that came in the CC Scots Guards presents carriage and also the figure from the Victoria cross series. I believe they are the only two. However I have seen a couple different ones from other manufacturers.

I think I'll try a K&C jetty dock scene with the Black Watch arriving in Egypt using multiples of the club figure and the new Redcoat. Hope we'll get a piper and officer eventually.

Man today is just too darn exciting for us glossy 19th C British Colonial collectors;)
