As I have just posted on the general discussion I was quite disappointed with the Greeks and I suppose even more so by the stylized Persian baddies who perhaps would fit better in a pantomime rather than on a toy soldier shelve.

Still they deserved there 10 minutes in the sun as for the first time in around 6 years I got them out of the box's. Enjoy them if you can!

Conte got carried away around then with his Sons of the South and then the Persians
They were just a little over theatrical
He never really cam back from that
I have all his AZW sets and really like them.

I always like the Persians, they were never done in plastic, were they?

Unfortunately not. That said, I've still got another 100+ plastic Spartans to paint up, so at my current rate, a good few years worth.....

Thanks for your support John!{sm4}
When the project has sent me half blind and half mad, I'll give you a shout and see what your doing with your spare time. ^&grin

Only half?.......{sm2} {sm4}
