Yo Troopers, need help anyone know any good dealers who sell single Old Britains or boxes. Need a few to make sets up, for some reason the US always seem to have a better selection of Old Britains than the UK for sale. If you can help can you post their web address Cheers.
Bernard.

I have this site Bernard

http://www.oldtoysoldierhome.com/

They seem to have some sets and a some singles, probably have more than what is listed on the site. They also have repro boxes. I am at work so don't have all of my fav sites here. If I find anymore I'll let you know.

Most of my collection is made up of pieces from Warren. He is an excellent guy to deal with and the stock he sells is second to none. I think he actually under grades his stuff (what he considers good most would say was excellent, in temrs of paint finish) He prices are very reasonable. The only drawback is that you can't buy when you want to. He sends out lists 3 - 4 times a year and then you order.

Yo Trooper, thanks anyone know this guys email ??. Will be around later Trooper to inspect the Stables.
Bernard.

Hi, Bernard, I think you'll have to use snail mail for Warren, I don't think he uses the Internet at all.

I think the Japanese call it "The Slow Life", I think it's a new philosophical movement there.

Prost!

You are right Brad, I have never had an email address for him. I don't even think his lists are done on a computer.

I have been fortunate enough to receive Warren's lists over the last 16 years. If he does have email -- he has never acknowledged it to anyone that I know of. Once you get on his mailing list -- he sends out his soldier lists (usually about 50 or so type-written pages) and he sells the items on the basis of who calls him first.

Yo Troopers, cheers anyone know his address then, think I still have a Quill and ink somewhere.
Bernard.

In addition to Warren Mitchell, there are a few sellers on Ebay who routinely sell vintage Britains single pieces. I hesitate to recommend anyone in particular -- because I have never dealt with them, and so am really not in a position to advise other than look on Ebay USA under vintage Britains.

Pam Brunton of Brunton Barracks in arizona. You can google Brunton Barracks and access her most current list. I dealt with her in the past and her troops are as advertised.
