Hi There!

We are now looking to expand into the USA and Canada with a very limited and select range of retailers and, as collectors with more knowledge of the experience of trading with retailers in your own countries I am asking you to give me your opinions as to who you would like to see stock our product.

This may be unorthodox and, I really hope we are not breaking any forum rules here but, it was my intent when I started Empire, that it would be lead by the collectors whenever possible, and now is a good time for you to have your say and at the same enable the retailers who you feel give you good service to be recognised.

So, please do let me know. I am happy to read from here but, if you would prefer to keep this private, then please do e-mail me at malcolm@empiremm.co.uk with your thoughts.

many thanks in advance and, let's hope this helps you, the collectors in the long run.

Best wishes,

Malcolm. :salute::

Not range specific, but I really like figures and scenes of soldiers "relaxing". Or soldiers with family, etc. I think they add so much to a diorama rather than just all soldiers aiming guns and the like

Ooops - I read that wrong and can't delete it - didn't realize you were asking for retailer suggestions :redface2:

Hey Zach,

No worries, I appreciate the feedback on the idea. It is something we are looking into for 2015 oddly enough!

Best regards,

Malcolm.

I should think that our hosts, Treefrog Treasures, would be an obvious choice. George Guerriero of Minutemen Toy Soldiers and Tim Tyler of Troops of Time are also outstanding options. -- Al

Hi Al,

many thanks for your input, greatly appreciated.

I know of all of these retailers but, being this side of that pond, do not know what collectors experiences are so this is invaluable.

Thanks again.

best regards,

Malcolm. :salute::

Also Sierra Toy Soldier.
Mark

Hi Mark,

Many thanks to you also. This is what I was hoping to achieve when I established Empire. A company that actively invites and engages dialogue with collectors.

Keep bringing the comments, good, bad or ygly, it is the only way we will grow and deliver what you guys want via the people you like to trade with.

Best regards,

Malcolm.

For Canada, the "Toy Soldiers Club" in historic Quebec City would probably be your best bet. I buy my K&C and John Jenkins figures from them. Here is the link for their website http://www.toysoldiersclub.com/
Cheers,
Brendan

Another Canadian dealer with both internet and bricks and mortar presence is Maitland Toy Soldiers

Hi Kirk,

Thank you. You guys are a real help to a distant business :) Seriously, this is a great help.

What a fantastic hobby we are all in.

best wishes,

Hi Malcolm,

Stan Clark Military Books (in Gettysburg). No online shop. Based in the The Antique Center of Gettysburg.

Stan can be contacted at scmb@earthlink.net

Dealt with him over many years and supported his very worthy annual national wreath project.

Regards

C.
