Will non-JJD collectors convert (1 Viewer)

Are there any would be convertees to John's work because of the forthcoming Sudan range? It's probably to early to gauge but I'll be interested to know if collectors of K&C, Britains, First Legion etc etc who are tempted by John flexing his creativity in this period.

I am pleased that a quality manufacturer is moving into the Sudan. Hopefully it will encourage others to explore the colonial period. I am not to sure how much more WW2 rehash is left.

I would be interested in a Sudan series, only with better faces.
That and being matte has prevented my foray so far .

I agree with that faces part. Yes, this is part of Jenkins very personal and unmistakable style, reminds me of some famous painters, but I really am not into that style, although the FIW range has wonderful poses and depth.
