Hi guys,

as a few of you are aware, i intend to purchase the Figarti 1/30 chevrolet.

However i am afraid this will be the final 1/30 SAS/LDRG release in 1/30, and i do not want my SAS/LDRG diorama to be hanging/incomplete?

so do you guys think its worth a risk?

thanks in advance.

sincerely,

nasir kasmani.

Surely someone if not Figarti will do a few more LDRG/SAS releases? It's such an iconic image of the desert war. How big of a diorama were you planning? You could always use them to spy on your AK Germans to make the overall dio bigger. That's what I'm planning on anyway:D;).

Surely Figarti are planning a 1/30 scale jeep to go with their brilliant chevy trucks?

Hi Guys,

thanks for your replies.

I was kinda hoping that Figarti will have more of the African Theater in 1/30.

For the EA, the SAS Jeep is a must.

Since we have the 1/30 AK Panzer IV, at the very least some AK troops to complement?

Wishful thinking, Rommel and the 88 will be great.

Ideally, my dio will be a small group of SAS/LDRG planning a surprise rear attack on an 88 gun emplacement.

But i'll KIV on the Chevrolet until i see more items in the African theater.

As it is, i expected the Winter Panzer IV to undergo some minor tweakings and in different camo, but that has yet to materialize.

You would think so. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to play with them while I watch old "Rat Patrol" reruns. Some sort of support vehicle/dio piece to complete the look would be sharp. Something like they are doing with the V-2 series. Maybe a couple of jeeps returning after a raid with some wounded or captured German prisoners?

Hopefully. I need to get my hands on the 1/30 scale ones before they are put to retirement. Hopefully they will not be the same expense as the Panzer 4 or the V-2 vehicle.
