we are now in July and no sign of any new William Britains sets? Has anyone heard anything about when we can expect any of the 2016 sets?

Ken posted 19 new figures and schwimmwagen now at the dealers. Standard should be out with a few weeks and club figures to arrive at the end of the month.

Any news on the Britains 88MM Gun set ? Original release date was 1st quarter of 2016. We are now in 3rd Quarter of the year ?

I suppose with Ken & Co buying Britains from 1st Gear, has meant that new contracts had to be agreed with the factory in China and all sorts of logistical issues iron out. Bound to have been hold ups along the way, very frustrating for all concerned no doubt.
As for the long wait I know. I've been waiting months now myself for figures ordered and paid for with MKL and whilst they are now available in USA they haven't arrived in the UK as yet.
Nothing to be done but wait.

Steve, having been through these transitions in my past professional career, they are never easy and all we can do is wait. I will say that I did get the latest releases from WB last week and the quality continues on the up swing from older figures which is a good sign. Noticed the web site is also slowly changing as it now has a Hudson and Allen tab. Chris

Yes, I have noticed this as well.

Good observations and you are correct. Everything is the same, but different, requiring much paperwork and negotiating. The good news is that over ten years with the brand and a few years as General Manager under the former owner has made much of it easier to accomplish than a complete 'start up'.

It is also useful to note that both the US operation and our distributors in the UK ship our releases surface to help control costs. This occasionally means that the arrival to market time varies a bit depending on consolidation with other items. This is more cost effective than other shipping models and we are not likely to change to another model in the near future.

We are adding Hudson & Allen products to the W. Britain site as they are available along with updated images and information.

Thank you all for your patience. I know that we are making a great product at a fair price and are committed to the brand.

Thanks,
Ken

Ken,
Any idea when we might see the new Heer Winter Germans showing up? The ones posed in the factory?

Will adding H & A to the Britains website lead to improved customer service for these products. Although the products are excellent, customer service is spotty at best.

The answer is yes. We are not doing a general release of the entire line, only what is designed to be on hand in numbers. The Customers serviced by the U.S. will see these in the U.S. summer catalog, which just went to press.
As always we will offer one-of-a-kind items from time to time too. We know these are great products at fair prices and we would like to keep them that way as long as we can.

Ken, this is good news, really looking forward to the new catalog now. Will this catalog be in a new format that you have mentioned or will it remain in the current WB format? Just curious. Chris

Thank you Ken. Are their any plans to make the diorama that you made several years. That is a terrific piece that I use all the time. Worth every penny.
