Hello good fellows....I just purchased a couple of these NAPS British 1st foot guards from William Britians in order to test out the waters so to speak and I must say that I was not disappointed in both the quality and the PRICE..:salute:::salute::

I have to admit to having been pretty naive when I started collecting toy pilots several years back. I put it that way, because I was burdened by an unfortunate misconception. You see, I thought that I could focus on a single brand that manufactured "the best of everything." What I've since learned is that manufacturers have strengths and weaknesses in the way of product offerings. Brand A can produce a range that's the best thing going at a particular price, while other of its sets can be fairly characterized as lacking in some regard. As for Britains, I've focused recently on its WW1 and WW2 sets and find myself very pleased with them. In particular, I find the the sculpts to be extraordinarily lifelike. If anything, it occurs to me that they are under-priced compared to the competition. It's great to know that the quality which is exhibited in their latest 20th century sets is likewise presented in its Napoleonics. Well done, William Britains.

WB have always been my favourite, currently I collect WW1, Zulu and Ceremonial items. I also collect the old lead Zoo & Farm series.
