Both are lovely but I would prefer the glossy version. Another set joining my wish list!

Yeah, something about the glossy finish really gives them a spark. The castings seem more geared to a glossy finish than matte. They are a little "toy like" and those never really look good in matte finish.

They are very nice figures. Lovely.

IMO I think that the WE matte versions are pretty darn realistic. It does depend on the sculpts and some WE figures are better than others as is true with most companies products.

We will continue to offer MATT and GLOSS finishes, plus unpainted kits, on all our soldiers and accessories to cater for all preferences.

I personally prefer the MATT finish but my brother Jason likes the GLOSS so there will always be two camps!
