This is the second time I see the ww2 "carabinieri" with the "napoleonic" hat. Also KC did this. Well, they wore this in WW1, not WW2. Below, the carabinieri ww2 hat.It was the same as the regular army.

I see it was also the napoleonic ww2 version, but I think it was not common.

The figure indeed is a re-release of the series Carabinieri for Del Prado,well painted with the usual great sculpt by Emilio. In the original series it depicted a WWI Carabiniere.

I have found a photo of ww2 carabinieri with the"napoleonic" hat. So, some of them wore this hat till ww2.
