Ursel was in the 1940's a Belgian base for the Royal Belgian Air Force. It was occupied by the Germans after the invasion and used throughout the war by the German and Italian air force from where they took off to fight the Battle of Britain. Every year, beginning of August there is a gathering of WW2 AFV's trucks and planes.Here are a few pics ( not all from this year)
