Hello all.....well I had a winter 88 K&C Crew but no winter 88 base and gun. So I bought the 21st Century 88 and repainted it white and built a diorama around it to look like the scene from Band of Brothers when Easy was attacking Foy. What do you think?? File was too big to show the whole Diorama...if youd like to see the rest..just email me.

Nice job on the 88 and dio. That is a good idea that I can use, I need an 88 for my K&C sets and the 21st is available cheap.

Nice work. You gonna be selling dios in chicago?

Thanks Alex for posting that pic. The building is the new Build-a-Rama Church that I picked up from George G. The stone wall and brick road is Dept. 56. I used broken up doll house bricks for the debris around the Church. All I need now is Easy Co. storming the dirty Krauts!

Brian, You have really progressed with your dioramas. When we last met in person you were but a student, now you are a master. I hope not a master of evil! Seriously, this diorama is truly special. Regards, Louis

Ahhhhh Louis my friend you are too kind. Master?...Hardly, just a fan of our great little hobby. It's fun to build them...I'm building them faster than I can sell or display them!! Just becasue it is so much fun to build them!

I'm thinking about a 24x24 T-intersection Hedgerow dio...I have the plan drawn up now just need the time to build it. I'm thinking about busting one of the hedgerows open for hopes of someday seeing the hedge cutter Sherman produced!

Love to hear feedback on any diorama ideas from you all.

Nice job again. That Dept. 56 materials really work well. For winter scenes, I really like their brick walls with snow on top and they also make some Xmas trees that don't go that badly with winter scenes. I also like their brick roads which can be cut up I believe although I've never tried it. Also I believe Build O Rama makes some great debris. They have a fantastic line of materials.

Heres a tip if you buy the Dept 56 brick road....It's too "perfect" to use right out of the package...soooo...spray paint it grey and add some black...then when it dries take sandpaper (I use a belt sander :D ) and scuff it up to show the wear and tear of a battle zone! Yes Build-a-Rama makes debris...however if you are looking to save $$$ go to your local hobby shop and get the dollhouse bricks. You can get a whole package for like $3. Take them home...get out your hammer...and whack the package (Also good for stress release  ) Then put the broken up bricks into a old can and spray them with grey, black and brown paint....and bam you have yourself some quality homemade debris for 1/2 the cost!

Thanks for those tips. We have 3 of those brick roads so I need to mention to my son what he thinks of the idea, esp. since it's coming from you. ;)
