Winter dio in the works. (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

In the early works of a small winter ruins diorama, once David (TM Terrain finishes I'll add some more pics) but plan on using the winter ruins with the new Winter German IV, and adding the First Legion 150 MM gun as a back ground scene inside the ruins then hopefully we will get some more Winter Germans at some point, a winter sniper would be lovely ...Sammy

Thanks Mike, this time I asked David if we could do some buildings that were non attached to a board so I have the freedom to move/change the structures, hopefully after these 2 sections are done I'll add one or two more smaller ruins to tie in to make a small village style dio, again as he sends me pics I'll post a few here as well...Sammy

thanks Brad, buildings look bigger in pics but wanted to be able to view into the structures to see damage/ small items such as tables/beds etc. plus he will winterize it when completed!! Digging the wall paper already ...Sammy

OK fellows, here are some updated photos, still need the weathering and snow to be added but I can see already with the exsposed floors this is going to be a great addition to display some of the First Legion winter Germans and the new winter IV, I'll post more after the weathering is complete...Sammy

Hi all, here are the finished photos of the winter ruins, these sets of ruins will fit in nicely with any Winter First Legion WWII sets that may come along at some point, but my plan is still to place the First Legion 150MM gun inside the structures and the new Winter IV parked along side of the corner ruins, I like the David also left enough exsposed floor boards to be used be it a sniper nest?, a machine gun team?, or gun emplacement? as always David has done a superb job with blending my ideas and his ideas together to come up with a great diorama and can't wait to get it home and get it displayed...Sammy
