Received my Winter Snow Troops today from Treefrog. These are a must have for anyone who likes the Battle of the Bulge or other WWII winter scenes. I love the way the figures truly communicate in the vignette. The modeling and the detail are outstanding. I hope Ana one day will do some DAK figures such as a chow line, mechanics, tankers or medical units. Would also love to see some Battle of the Bulge winter medics both German and American. These all make great camp or base dioramas. HB is creating some truly different figure sets that make a nice complement for for K&C's equally outstanding WWII figures.

What do others think who now have the Snow troops in their collections?

They look great. I don't have them yet, but in the near future I'm sure they will be added.

I just got mune today. Nicely done. Any idea if HB will come out with some on ski's

I like Tommy's suggestion of having some actually on skis. Any chance we might see some?

Thank you for some unusual subjects.

Randy

Randy - you know that we consider every collectors suggestion, and we have already taken note of the idea.

We need to evaluate if the figures and skis won't be too fragile, which material we will use for those (resin or metal skis) and how are we going to pack them. But we will make them once we've figured out all of these issues.

Thanks,

Ana

You may be interested to look at these mountain troops made by Tommy Atkins:

They look pretty cool.

Pierre.

How about some Finnish ski troops? That would be a nice variation from the Germans.

Here are some resin/kit German ski troops on skis I found on the web. I'm sure the "Boyz" will be even better.
