Don,t know about you guys, but I'm getting tired of all the winter version troops. That goes for all the companys.
At first I could not get enough of them, but here of late it seems that every other WW2 set has some winter Germans.
I doubt that unless it is a rare version I,m done buying winter vehicles.
I also think the North African campaign is closeing in on too much also, but at least with that there are a few varied nations that can be depicted.

Gary,
Could you be more specific as to what you mean as K & C does winter Germans and Americans once a year to expand their Bulge series and those sets sell like crazy for me. Figarti has done afew winter items recently and only a couple of figure sets, but I've sold out of all the vehicles done in the winter theme.

Thomas Gunn Miniatures has done only one winter set so far, but at the same time, the last two German sets from Honour Bound were winter Germans, but they sold very well for me, so there you go.

Let me know which ones you are referring to.

Gary,

I hear what you are saying but since my main collecting emphasis is on the winter campaigns (not including the RAF/USAAF, etc.), I am extremely happy with the various winter releases from the respective companies. I think that the release schedule is fairly balanced. True, there have been substantial winter releases as of late and with that being said I expect there will be new subject matter on the horizon! On a positive note, you have probably stock-piled some funds for something unique yet to come.

George makes a good point. Just because thee have been a lot of winter and desert releases does not mean you have to buy any of them. You could always
switch to another historical period if you are bored with WWII.

Good point.

I guess now its a matter of priorities your purchases. Now where really getting into some collectability. It will be more difficult to be a completest. LOL

Let me say I,m not complaining about the winter stuff, but it seems that in proportion to the fighting in Europe the white camo stuff was not as prevelant as other combat uniforms, same for the vehicles.
Now Russia is a different story, but there are really no winter Russian troops.
