While reading through WWII History Magazine's BOTB 70th anniversary, was pleasantly surprised to come across this picture which kind of reminded me of the classic BBA008 Wolf in sheep clothing. So, this piece is real after all.

I agree there. I don't think it was very popular, compared to some other Bulge releases. I don't think it's fine well in the secondary market.

Hi Guys,

This piece was one of the more unusual and unique pieces K&C has produced...

And as some have said perhaps not as popular as some others but...They’re all gone now and I’m sure “Battle of the Bulge” collectors are happy to have one in their collection!

Not every release will or can be a “home-run” but I’m still very glad K&C produced this strange little “hybrid”.

Best wishes and happy collecting!

They still show up on eBay for $150. Not bad for an AFV with 3 figures. Stan Clarke has one on there now.

Andy,

I did mean to say that it was a very good release. I just thought it is kinda under appreciated at the box office. It deserves more and is now one of those cult items for BotB true believer collectors. In fact, the first 10 sets of BBA series are classics, each re-telling the winter of '44. :salute::

Perhaps K&C could revisit Skorzeny's armour next year - how about an ersatz Panther?
