In the early 70's I was in Taiwan on a business trip. After visiting factories in Kaohsiung (Southern Taiwan) I noticed a nice beach. It was close to 100F and I desperately wanted a swim. I told my driver and local associate to please stop so I could walk down to the water. I pulled a bathing suit from my overnight bag (i brought it to swim in hotel pools after work) and changed on the beach which was eerily empty. I had only intended to wade into the ocean but the heat and novelty of a new beach propelled me into the waves. I thought I saw a large shadow of some kind of fish and then thought I saw a fin or two. I came out of the water and my associate was yelling at me. He said in broken English that the waters here were infested with sharks and that's why the beach was empty. Nice that he told me after my swim but he didn't realize that I would go all the way in.
The moral is that if you see an empty beach in 100 degree weather better be cautious before you take the plunge. And if you see any sharks swimming around don't try to pet or feed them.

Same in Tropical Australia ……..

It could be SHARKS or CROCODILES or STINGERS ….all deadly.

Then on the land, there are snakes, spiders … all deadly poisonous.

Australia welcomes TOURISTS :)

This reminds me of that knucklehead kid who thought he could commune with the grizzlies and got mauled.

Prost!
