I found a bag of these repros at The Hobby Bunker's flea market room yesterday. They are in red brown and dark brown plastic. I added the two white plastic figures that were part of the old MARX jungle sets.

The top hat on the African may have been inspired by King Moshoeshoe.525px-King_Moshoeshoe_of_the_Basotho_with_his_ministers.jpgevents20.061_moshoeshoeKing Moshoeshoe.jpgstove-pipe-hat.jpg

The idea of the top hat African was also in a 1902 children's book.

The Indian figure is "Kaseem" from Jungle Jim.

Actually, the name was on the base of this figure from the Jungle Jim set; it's Kolu from some of the movies, not Kaseem although it does look like Kaseem. The movie had George "Superman" Reeves in it as a villian. Ironic that Rick Vallin who played Kolu would do several episodes of superman himself.

The repros have no names on them.
Thanks! I found the figure as Kulu here....
