Is any dealer selling small square wooden bases out there? Looking for 100 or so around 1 3/4 square for 1/32.....54 mm figures.

Thanks Alex. Their products are not quite right and more than I can afford per piece.

I know someone who can make them for you.
What are you looking to pay for 100 of them?
I will pass the info to the base maker.

I'm looking for plain pine. I expect to do the sanding, staining, etc myself. I can't pay more than .50 .75 cents each since the figures wholesale from around $ 12.00 each.

I last had them made about 20 years ago and just ran out so I don't know what wood workers time is worth today.

I have seen them in a Michael's store. They have all different sizes of unfinished pine bases.

Thanks I'll check there. They only had ones in AC Moore for larger figures and small dioramas.

Let me know if you would like to have them made in pine and I'll make a phone call.

Hi, Scott! You noted that you want them 1 3/4 inches square, but you didn't note the thickness.

If you're looking for relatively thin bases, as opposed to pedestal bases like the one in the image in your first post, you might just want to get yourself a piece of luan plywood at Home Depot or Lowe's, or any other hardware store, and rip the bases yourself. They work out to a finished thickness around 3/16". HD and Lowe's both sell smaller sheets, too, so you wouldn't have to buy a full 4x8' sheet. You can get a 4x4' piece, for example. I've bought them in the past for things like that. If you have a table saw, then it's just a matter of setting your rip fence for the width, ripping the stock into lengths, and then another pass to cut the final size bases that you want.

Hope that helps, prost!

One gross will do it for now.

Okay, I have to a few things to do today but when I get back I'll make the call. I already sent him an email late last night but no answer at this time.
Next email you should PM me.
