World Of Tanks Blitz (1 Viewer)

Hello Gents ,

Just have an interesting topic to discuss...For those of you with Apple products & soon also Android user's...There is a new APP available...It is called World Of Tanks Blitz...It has just been released & i have been playing it now for almost two weeks...It is alot of fun...It is random 5 vs 5 tank battles in various locations @ random...The point of me bringing this up is more than just the game itself...I joined the forum.wotblitz.com , which is where the players share information & discuss the game,tanks , etc...What i found out by being on this forum is a vast majority of the players are teenagers...The game @ present revolves around American,Russian & German tanks...I have heard soon to be British as well...The game works by starting @ tier 1 which are light tanks from each nation & you build exp. which allows you to upgrade your tanks or move up to new one's...As much talk has been made on this forum about the demise of the Toy Soldier Hobby because we are all old & there is no new blood because kids don't play with plastic soldiers anymore like we did when we were kids ! Well i think this is the modern day equivalent of that...I had already mentioned 1/30 scale AFV's on their forum , because alot of the player's get really attached to playing certain tanks...Wouldn't this be a great entry point for a kid who loves to play a panther tank in the World of Tanks Blitz game to want to have an authentic looking 1/30 version...?!? I think it would be a great oppurtunity for one or all of the Toy Soldier Manufactor's to look into trying to market to this group !!
I have been playing alot with a PzKpfw B2 which is just a captured French Char B1...I love it , & it has caused me to go take my B1 out of the case...
Anybody else playing ?! or have any feeling on the subject would love to here about it !

My in-game name is Krieg_Wolf and I am in the Wolf_Brigade clan.

I primarily fight German tanks, but am slowly building up my US tanks. Currently running a Hellcat (one of the most fun tanks to play in the game,) M4 Sherman and T21 (least fun tanks to play and takes a long time to grind since your next stop is the US auto-loader tanks.)

I really enjoyed playing the Historical games, but they became unpopular pretty fast. Not sure why.

The Clan Skirmishes are the best as you get matched to clans that are closer to your level and are great practice with your clan mates before going on to fullscale clan wars.

I have a great time on it.

I am not part of a clan , just started playing...I have platooned with somebody & that was a lot of fun...I am running the German tech tree...I am currently in the tier V german tank...But as I mentioned in my post I bought the Pz B2 which is a captured French B1..it is a tier IV tank , & I love playing it...my WoTB name is the same as this forum jager7080...

I have several T5 Panzers myself.

I am what is known as a tank collector as I keep a lot of tanks rather than sell them. So, I have almost every "historic" Panzer and a few US tanks. I will never let my Hellcat go and may need to pick one up off eBay as I use it so often in T6 Clan Skirmishes.

I looked into some of the Panzer themed clans, but they were not as friendly or active as Wolf_Brigade. A real mix of young and old in WB.

I just moved into the VK 30.02 M which is a Panther prototype , tier VI...I sold off my Tier V...So my garage in WoTB , i have an M3 Light tier III , a T-15 tier III , Pz III tier III , Pz B2 tier IV , DW 2 tier IV & The VK 30.02 M tier VI...
Now these clan's you are talking about ! Are you talking about the PC version of the game...? The version i am playing is the Blitz version on Apple IOS...I will be on after i get home @ 0100 cst...

I kinda figured...I am playing on my iPad mini...it's a blast...I looked you up...you have a profile in blitz it just shows 0 battles...if you get in the mobile blitz version...hit me up & we will platoon !
