My wife and I have been really enjoying this new BBC / Masterpiece Theater mini-series. Set during WWII. This has high quality production values. Starts off with the invasion of Poland in 1939. On episode 5 now, evacuation from Dunkirk. Great characters and storyline. Really worth watching.

I asked the same question! Its ok and we are enjoying but not too realistic. Right now any entertainment is welcome.

That part made little sense. He’d have to travel through Germany, probably the Low Countries and then France.

It’s passable fare but not up to usual Masterpiece standards.

I was surprised at that too. I am also wondering what they are doing with all the German bodies after Kasia "dispatches" them.

Would think they just leave them as awarning to the Germans but then you run into the old problem of every time you kill one German how many hostages will the Germans shoot in reply which doesn't make you popular with the people just trying to get by.
