If John made a set of officers...just officers...

and it could be for any series you want...

Tic...1812...Culloden...Sudan...B of M...Quebec...any series...

a set of 4-5-6 officers...a small grouping of figures...not in action poses really...just conversing...just standing and talking...simple non combative sculpts...maybe in poses of one pointing...or one looking through a telescope...with hands animated in conversation as if they were discussing a strategy of attack or defense...maybe one sitting...maybe a table with a map on it that they are looking at...something like that...you get the idea...

I want one for 1812...for the US side...just a group of officers in non action poses talking...I think they could be very versatile figures...I think they could be used a lot of different ways...they could make a small stand alone diorama...they could be used in a large diorama...I like the "non-action" figures...

would anybody buy one of these sets...I personally would like to see it for Chippewa...but any series...figures like this...would this interest anyone

Mike

Yes, I would ... for an 1812 British officers set for my Napoleonics :)

OD

Oooooh yea...I would welcome it for his British side at Chippewa in a second if he would make it...

It would make a nice scene, but my concern would be how it fits with the existing figures from those lines. Most of which are in combat poses. Particularly Culloden and Sudan.

In my own mind...

I see this set suited best as produced to be stationed behind the huge artillery battery of the US or Brit side for 1812...

but I could see it working for any series...

with Culloden...JJ has large plans on continuing this series...

on the Sudan...I would love these figures in the fort I'm building...or on the field inside a square of Gordons...

maybe a stretch on Culloden with the current figures...

Definitely the Sudan. I have been asking John to do one or more camp scenes for this line and these would fit in nicely with some tents and supplies, table, etc.

Sounds like a good idea Mike. Would like to see a group of officers standing round a 'map table' or similar. As Randy says it would look great within the square in the Sudan....or FIW for that matter.

Pete

Yes please "Sudan", would love that, I am sure a couple of sets would blend into the army, but I am not sure I like being teased like this. Cheers, Robin.

Yes .......FIW...QUEBEC....1812...I SET for all his series
would work. I like all of J.J. SERIES.

I'm in on the '45 and Quebec. A meeting of the Jacobite leaders and the Bonnie Prince would be a nice dio. -- Al

That's a great idea Mike!
I would love such a set for Culloden, 1812 and Quebec! The one line, I can't picture it for though is B of M, as I can't see either side having time for conversing around a table while the attack was going on;)

Niels

This could work nicely for almost all the series. But I really like Mike's idea for 1812. John could possibly portray Generals Jacob Brown & Winfield Scott conferring over a map along with with a lower ranking officer, an aide de camp or maybe even an Indian scout.

That would work for me. :)

Yea Niels...B of M would be tough...but it could work with the BM's at a stockade fort setting...still you're right...it would be the toughest....my last choice...

I like how you think Dragoon...I'm seeing the same thing...

There again, the others sound good as well!!!!!

Pete...there then...it's settled...we will ask John for one large officer's set for each series...;)
