Napoleonic range has been done by most manufacturers, some have made just french and british army, others also made more armies; but, in my opinion the most peculiar napoleonic campaigns, also from a visual point of view, were Egypt and winter Russia.The beginning of the end of Napoleon, the long march to save what is left of the " grande armée", the last defensive battles back to the river to reach Lithuania. Many interesting scenarios to do.
KC say that they don' t wish to make another winter range as their style is made of bright colours today....So, which manufacturer will do this?

I think if I was keen on this series than the new Blackhawk range the Winter retreat would be a must. Robin.

Have a look at what's already been produced first ...

Fusilier Miniatures (Below) ..... must be about 100 ......http://www.fusilier-miniatures.com/

The images are of castings that I have painted, but are available as painted figure as well.

Black Hawk (check their website) .... only about 18 painted sets .... http://www.blackhawk-toysoldier.com/en/

Maybe this will suffice to display the remnants of Le Grande Armee in 1812 ????

Ok,much of this has also been done. There are in my opinion great wars not requested by most of the people which I like: the boxers, the mexican revolution, the conquistadores,the pirates ( any kind). While I m not interested in films or tv series , fictions carachters at all..

Thank you all for the beautiful pics posted {sm3}

I agree, and think that Blackhawk did a mighty fine job with the releases they have out.
