I tried to go back to past threads from Louis on the development of the K&C line to find out a question regarding WS03. I know that WS06 came in four variations(glossy,matt grey,Waffen SS plus Winter version) but did WS03 do the same? The reason I ask is that I finally got to display my WS03 and the driver is in a grey uniform opposed to the Waffen SS colours I see in the brochures. I was kind of disappointed but its still a WS03. I guess I never really looked at it before until setting up this little diorama and it hit me. Help on this..Louis?????Now I need to dig out my Winter version to see if its okay

Dear Fullyautomatic,

The first version of WS03 depicted in the November 1993 catalogue had a driver in a solid gray uniform (glossy). The earlier WS03 drivers had rifles on their backs, while the early WS06 drivers had Schmeisser machine pistols on their backs. I have seen later versions with matt drivers in gray, half gray, half camo, and full camo uniforms in various brochures thorughout the years. I hope this aleviates your concerns.

Thanks Louis. No real concerns and I'm definitely not in the hunt for the other ones. This one looks fine in my collection. Everyone is retreating in this little diorama so a mix match of uniforms and soldiers is fine...
