:) Hello! WS53 & WS54, could possibly been Repainted for the DAK, and WS52 Halftrack also, be Repainted for DAK? NOT, endused with the "NEW" Captured T-34, release in May 2007! I would have rather get a PANZER IV ( Short Barrel ), for DAK, and Wehrmacht! Also, a KETTENKRAD, to Tow this NEW German "RAMJETER" Prototype, instead of the NEW Halftrack?

Not one single thing you liked?.

Of course not..... Why don't you make your own line of military figures. You don't seem to be happy with anything K&C puts out.

:) First of All, I Never Said, that I don't like Andy's, products, I just don't see anything Exciting about a Captured T-34, or a Prototype Airplane! My Personal Preferences! To each his own; Freedom -of- Speech Remember! That's what its All about! First , you like what I ask and Requested , from K & C and Now you're Critisizing me? That's what this Suggestion Corner is All about, isn't it?

In John's defense, he's a big fan of King and Country. He just wants more of it, more than I think Andy can possibly make and still have a viable company.

You are so right, Freedom of Speech. I just think you whine more than all my kids, about what is "not being made." Why don't you just sit back and enjoy the hobby of collecting toy soldiers, I think you would be alittle bit happier. My thoughts right.....Freedom of Speech.

:) Hello Halo! If you want to see my Collection of King and Country Toys, you're Welcome! I don't display my Toys; some People have the time, to do it! I'm Retired, and have other Interest, besides Collecting Toys! We All have certain Interests, in Toy Soldier Collecting, mine is Certain WW2! Relax and have a cold Brew, and enjoy Life; that is my Philosphy! Life is too Short, to worry about 'Who Collects What? To each his own! Take Care!

John...you dont display them? Do you mean show pictures or have them out on display at home? I'm confused

I know Kevin (panda1gen) doesn't display his collection. Sadly he doesn't have space, so he sets up his ownderful dioramas, photographs the stuff, and them boxes it up and stores it. I would be so depressed if I didn't have at least some of my stuff out where I could see it and touch it occasionally. I hope John isn't in this situation as well.

:) I have (40)--K & C-40QT. Rubbermaid Containers, with MOST of my K & C Collection, and also have FOV, built and painted Military Armor, Airplanes, and Artillery in 1/30th& 1/25th Scale (OLD MODELS) Built-Up! I Guess I'm a Grown-Up Older Toy holic Collector! I hopefully, will be Selling at Least 1/2 of My Collection, I only keep 1-Set of Each Item (Toy Soldier) Sets! So, NOW I move on to Bigger and Better Toys! Maybe a 35FT Fishing Boat, with Air-Condition, if I sell very well? This Depends on the Future WW2 Toys, that I still want to Complete my Enjoyment, and Retirement! I reaaly wanted to become a STUD, instead! HA! HA!

John, did you like the tank crew or Normandy Kubelwagon?.I'm going to get these as soon as poss.I've really wanted extra tank crews for a while now and as Andy says they can be used with other manufactures vehicles.

Rob

:) Hello Rob! YES, I like the NEW 4-Man Tank Figure's from K & C! NOW , I don't like the Kubelwagen, because the Original Kubelwagen K & C was a Little Wider, and seem to be Larger! But theNEW Kubelwagen Figures are Nice! NOW, I have Purchased 4-Kubelwagen's and 2-Schwimmawagens , in Metal and they're are Beautiful, and Andy's Figures , fit Well into these NEW Metal Vehicles, that I have Purchased! P.S. We're getting the AUSSIE'S, for N. Africa, NOT from K & C! OOWAH!

After reading between the lines on some of the comments on this thread (which is not really difficult to do considering most of the comments were patently obvious) and having experienced similar comments on other threads that have had, shall we call it some “discontent among the natives”, I am reminded of something an old grizzled up Master Chief once told me.

I was a fresh naive and obnoxiously insecure “boot” (a “boot” is a very new sailor just out of recruit training) in my first ship, the USS Portland LSD-37 out of Little Creek, Virginia. I had just had a confrontation with a fellow “boot” about the proper way to clean a lube oil purifier (we both considered ourselves to be experts yeah know) and the Master Chief had over heard our yelling match. No one wins those by the way. This took place in 1969; he had been in the Navy since 1935 and was getting ready to retire. He was truly on “old salt” from the “old Navy.” He started out on a coal-fired ship of all things. But anyway, his comment to me was very simple and I have (as I age and get to be his age) found his advice more relevant as time ages me. He said, “Michael, don’t sweat the small @$#* and it’s all small @$#*.” @$#* is a word that Louis tells me rhymes with it.

So lets everyone on the forum not sweat the small @$#* so much and so often. Remember, life is terminal and nobody gets out alive. Pay attention to the important stuff like children, grandchildren, sunsets and sunrises. We all share this hobby of ours.

John has earned the right to his opinions simply by surviving for so many years.

So endith the lesson for today. Go forth and multiply your collections. (my homage to Pete at this time of year)

John

Go get'em man - You fight like a Napoleonic Marshal my friend. :)
