OK, so once in a while, I'll try to buy a retired item...
I had a chance pick up the "strictly limited" WS69 StuG at a 'reasonable price' (for a retired item). The StuG is one of my favorite German fighting vehicles and who knows when a new release will hit the market.
While shopping around, I also looked for the WS47 StuG-only to find that this NOT 'strictly limited' version sells for a LOT more than the WS69 release.
Is there some history here about these two releases that explains this ?

The WS 69 was just a repaint of the WS 47 and since the WS 47 is the older variety and was retired rather quickly (before I started collecting), it may be scarcer. In fact, the WS 69 was introduced to make up for the quick retirement of the WS 47.

Thank you sir.
I wish I could obtain both-but that's just not in the cards. I'll just hope for a new release somewhere down the road.

Mike:

Keep your eyes peeled on E-bay a WS47 went off a little while ago for $240

and you never know how prices are going to go.....you might just stumble

across one.

is the same for the fob09 story i think

I would like to see Andy revisit the MK III stugs again, I prefer them to the MK IV's
