Hi guys

Ive sold my wss177 snowtiger on eBay, I'm trying to get money together as Ive written my car off.
Well it's sold today and buyer won't pay until I take it out of box and send pics of the tank set up.
The tank is mint and never removed from box. I'm a bit worried as buyer has sold tank previously on eBay. Has there been any problems with how barrel sits when model is put together? I hate using eBay because of all the fraud but I need a car for work

The time for the buyer to ask those questions was before the sale, not after. I would tell him so. If he refuses to pay, tell him you'll report him to eBay. Due diligence should be done before a sale, not after.

I don't know anything about the Snow Tiger or it's barrel, but I've been selling on ebay for a while now and I know that when a buyer starts asking questions or making demands after the sale he doesn't intend to pay without a fight. You should open a non-payment case on him right away and he most likely will pay up.Opening the case and having it on his record also makes it harder for him to leave negative feedback for you and easier for you to get it removed if he does.

It's making me think something is going to go wrong, like he has already owned the same model and sold it in last 12 months. Then he's asking

"Would you mind taking a photo of the tank with its turret attached. I would like to see how the gun barrel sits when in place"

Should I just cancel the auction?

Kind regards
Liam

I would do what I suggested and also send him an invoice. He then has three days to pay. If you don't have payment by the end of that period, do what Dethkor suggested.

Personally I would cancel the auction. He apparantly is looking to get out of this deal. All he has to do is claim breakage and you will have another set of problems, just not worth the aggrevation. It will sell to someone else. Again just my thoughts as I have sold quite a bit on ebay and learnd my lessons.

You may as well cave and give into his demands. eBay does not have your back, they only want their fees. If you call eBay customer service in Calcutta they will tell you to send him his pictures even though he should have asked for them before placing his bid. Only buyers have rights on eBay. Plus they have the attitude that you some how work for eBay and they can tell you how to run your business. I would send him an invoice, he has four days to pay. If he doesn't then open a non-paying bidder claim against him. Then relist or offer it to the next highest bidder. Also add the deadbeat to your blocked bidder list. If you cancel he can leave negative feedback and eBay counts it against you. eBay has deteriorated into crap. Kinda like shopping in the dumpster behind a Walmart. Also beware of them overcharging you. I have been dumping a lot of old 1/6 inventory on ebay. I relisted 35 items in a bulk relist the other day which should have cost me 10.50. They charged me 15.00 for 50 items. When I called they had no explaination as to what happened.

Hi,

I would send him the invoice. After 3 days if no payment is received file your claim against the buyer for non - payment.
If he doesn't pay you will get the final value fees credited back to you and he will get a STRIKE against his account.
You might have to call customer service to ensure fees are refunded back to you, if things go that direction.
Wrong time to ask for photos after this buyer won the auction. Smells fishy if you ask me ! Good Luck !
