Thats it as far as the movie goes ,it was made in masterton [imperial productions country ] near Jacksons home over a couple of days to test out some new wizz bang camera.Peter Jackson is apparently a big aviation
and WW 1 nut ,so I guess he saw it as a chance to play

Do you still have your ww 1 collection it would be great to see some shots,
theirs been quite a lot in the media here recently about WW 1 as tommorow
the 12 th of october is 90 years since Paschendale and the worst loss of lives
by New Zealanders in war ,on a single day, close to 900 killed in less than 2 hours and many more died of their wounds or where missing pressumed dead.
It was Canadians who replaced The New zealanders in the line after that
I think and also ended up taking the town.
