I swore I wasn't getting any more WW I but because of the influence of James Reese Europe on jazz, I will be getting the 369th Infantry Jazz Band, also known as the Hellfighters. Probably get both. So few companies do African American releases that they need to be supported.

Fantastic release.

Europe and his band brought American Jazz to Paris and beyond. After WWI African American entertainers such as singer-dancer Josephine Baker flocked to Paris.
