For anyone who wants to read about the Great War, without digging deep, I can recommend these books that I received last week.
With 224 pages each, maps, paintings, drawings, they do give a nice general overview of what was going on.
These two are from a series, which contains a few more subjects, Gallipoli & The Middle East, The Eastern Front, Balkans, Italy and Africa, and the last one is Naval Warfare.
I will be getting these other books within the next couple of weeks.
A good source for information, a little bit more than you would get from the Osprey books.

Hi Konrad. This series has been on my radar for a while. It is offered through my book club but I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Good to know that they are useful. -- Al
