Hi guys,
A friend went yesterday at Toysoldiers Paris and he saw WWI figures that Andy gave to Frédéric when he came this month.
He saw french soldiers of 1914 with their red trousers marching and a mounted officer and the regimental band.
The sets he was fond of were farewell sceneries: a french soldier with his young child and his wife and a german with a woman .Very nice ideas. I already
like them;Unfortunately , he did'nt took photos.
I don't know when they are supposed to be sold.
Have a nice day
Toys soldiers Paris is shut this saturday.

Yes, this is great news, merci beaucoup, des bonnes nouvelles pour 2010! J'attends des photos:D:...

A bientôt,

Sounds great, I would prefer action to marching and band, but not to look a gift horse in the mouth I am still very excited about these. Hopefully action poses will be very quick to follow.

Wonderful news..i really like the early french uniforms..and the "Adieu" scene is already in my toy soldier collecting dreams...

Great to look forward to. The image of the French marching off to war, in their red and blue, to the disaster of the Frontiers where they suffer 200,000 casualties in the first two weeks, is overpoweringly evocative. These figures are what I have really been waiting for. Viva la "rouge pantaloons"! -- lancer

Sounds promising. I hope though that we see some later orizon Blue and Adrian helmets sometime in the future. Verdun in 1916 would be a good subject. |Both the Adrian and the Stahlhelm were first widely used at Verdun. It was also where the flame thrower was introduced.

If you have the opportunity to visit Verdun -- it is a very moving place.

I am absolutely sure we'll get Adrian helmets in the future, how could they be left out of WWI?

The french in the blue and red marching off to battle. That must of been a beautiful sight. We can use a lot more WWl figures.

I'm hoping for February. I was a dissapointed that they were not in January's dispatches.:(

I've been waiting on the French since '07 when they released the Germans, hope they have some fighting poses. I didn't care for the looks of the Brits from '14 they made earlier.
