Any sign of the new sets? I was hoping to pick them up today but the local dealers haven't received them. Also, when do we get some picture of the new Focke-Wulf “Rammjager"? I'm beginning to stare out at the water like Tony Soprano during the lull.

Haven't heard a peep myself. I'm interested in both.

K & C just announced WW I is available, with photos next week on the Rammjager.

I noticed that the current top 5 sellers on the KC website are all WWI figures. Hopefully that translates into a productive line for Andy and he keeps them coming. Has anyone received them yet?

I can't wait for these,a whole new direction for K&C these are going to be cool.

I received these from Shannon yesterday and they're positively brilliant. Just beautifully sculpted and executed. You can't even call these toy soldiers. These are true military miniatures. I'll bet if someone like Firebat put them in a scene and then fotographed them in the style from the early 1900s, you would think that it was a picture from that time. For realism, K & C figures are just way ahead of anything out there.

Ron,

I don't have a lot of room for display but I will display them (although there will be WW II stuff in the background). What I received was one each of the following:

FW 005 Mounted Officer
FW 006 Marching Officer
FW 007 Officer with Flag
FW 008 Marching Bugler
FW 009 Marching Rifleman
FW 010 Standing Rifleman
FW 011 Standing Officer
FW 012 Corporal Hitler

I'm seeing George tomorrow and plan to pickup two more Marching Riflemen and two Standing Riflemen and perhaps the Kaiser and Hindenburg.

Anybody have pictures of their WWI displays yet ?

Sure want to see them....:D

I will have in the next day or so. Just been a little busy.

I just hope that they get a good vibe from this set and move to 1916-1918. I WANT A MOTHER MALE!!! :D

Andy is going to take this chronologically so 1916 will be down the road.

Yeah, that was what I had assumed. I really really hope he sticks with it. I like the current line but am finding it hard to part with my $$ for those figures in lieu of a lot of the other stuff. Undoubtedly the 1916-18 period will be easier to convince myself to get.

Any idea when we might see those sets? Next year perhaps?

Chris-
We are practically neighbors. I live in Carlisle and work in Gettysburg. Where do you buy most of your toy soldiers? I get most of mine from the Gettysburg shops.

Chris,

It's hard to say. He's producing action Germans later this year and then I think will come the Allies but since he's going in chronological order it may not be until 2009.

All the better, gives me more time to save up for that time period and get ready to get them then. Got too many other figures to catch up on:D
