Another book I received today is "An Illustrated Encyclopedia Of Uniforms Of World War I".
Wonderful book, HB, 256 pages, lots of prints, photos, historical information.
I do believe that our fellow member trooper recommended this book at some recent thread.
Currently it is available on amazon for a mere $18.31

Let me add this book to the thread here.
I found it the other day at a local Halfprice Bookstore.
Same style and size like the Uniform book, it is "The Complete Illustrated History Of World War I"
256 pages with more than 500 Photographs, Maps and Battle Plans.
In my opinion, a great book for the newcomer to the WWI era.

As WWI is a fairly recent war (well, for most of you; not me), I like to use origional sources, such as postcards and books that were made during the war. They are fairly cheap, and are cool pieces of history.
