Hi
Does anyone know if any company ever made a WWII allied (U.S. preferably) fire truck?
Thanks
Zach

K&C are producing one for the London Blitz era, I would expect it this year. Robin.

I didn't know the answer to your question - but have been kicking around an idea on a WW1 Fire Engine for a while.

As you mentioned an American one - how about this for an idea.

I have an old picture (I suspect part of an old postcard) which shows some American Soldiers of WW1 on what looks like an improvised Fire Truck.

Now - here's the interesting bit. Dorset Soldiers sells a kit of a Fire Engine - which can come with figures with the old brass fireman helmet - which look like this:

BUT - you could ask Giles Brown (the owner) if he could make you up some WW1 "Doughboys" to suit? Then, either paint it yourself to match up with the old pic above - or find someone to do it for you (NOT me!).

How about that for an idea Zach?:D jb
