FL is off too a great start with the WWII Germans! But i think some of the more common and smaller things should have been made before the 8 wheel armoured car.. Items needed are small artillary, PAK40 - PAK36 etc.. and the standard 251 halftrack and of course a kublewagen! In terms of figures, we needed camerman/war correspondent.. thanks

" All in good time! Our Stalingrad range is a marathon, not a sprint! " and " As I've said before, it's going to be a truly massive range of figures, vehicles, and accessories. We're really just getting warmed up and have some fantastic items coming. Once we get through some of the core items, we'll start to have some fun with the range. " here are two recent quotes from Matt on the subject , which may be of help . ;) Just trying to save Matt from repeating himself , so he has time to devote to making a Napoleonic Prussian staff set & of course the 2 or 3 new lines coming out this year. And I almost forgot expanding into the Peninsula so Bill will let poor Matt get some sleep at night . All the best Gebhard :)

How about some MG 34 gunners or mortar crews?
I like the timing of the 232 release, since some of the first units into Stalingrad were 232's. Who's going to recon the area for the follow up arrival of everybody else? And YES, the 251's are a MUST HAVE.:)

Actually, I think First Legion Stalingrad Series is headed in the "right direction" in the order of release of their product line....The release of the Stugs, Armoured car, and soon Panzer III show that they are serious about this line and are COMMITED.......Some of the smaller items you are mentioning although very desirable would not be the best way to "KICK-OFF" the Stalingrad Line......When I started to collect FL Stalingrad, my concerns were that the line would fade out of interest (or develop too slowly)....NOT SO.....I am also glad that FL has stuck to their guns regarding style, scale and subject matter not cloning K/C or Figarti........Also they have "Kept their Focus".......No obscure AFV's or non-battle figures.....This line is geared toward the "battle"......(Grey German AFV's; no nonsense here)......It looks like the development of this series is going very well......I would not hesitate to highly recommend First Legion WWII to anyone who likes realism and true diorama potential in their collection.:)

Very well put.
Like the term obscure AFV's or wasteful non-battle figures. How true this rings. First Legion has cut to the chase and is providing us the tools to create one great WW2 battle. I for one am extremely happy and excited on this new collecting venture.:):)

Matt can speak to this much better than I, but he has made it crystal clear that this is going to be a huge range to include German and Soviet figures, AFV's, buidlings, etc, etc, essentially everything you will need to recreate the battle in miniature from beginning to end including the relief effort that tried to break into the pocket.

That is why when told these figures don't blend with other manufacturers figures, he and I have said 900 times these are not intended to blend with other figures, these will be a collection within a collection, plain and simple.

All aspects of the battle will be addressed in due time, the end result will be worth the wait...................

Patience is not my strong suit, but i will have to wait! Hopefully, we will get some Italians and Hungarians at some point..

I have asked this before, but does anyone know if the FORCES Of VALOR 88 cannon can go with the FL germans ? Maybe even be good enough for a "Background piece".. Because the FOV 88' is grey and made for Stalingrad...

Oh, i forgot, another thing that needs to be made,, one of those german krupp transport trucks!

Understood, it's the true collector in you, nothing wrong with that.

Again, I don't want to speak for Matt, but I feel confident all of you loyal collectors will be happy with this range when it is all said and done.....................
