I'm thinking about buying another one of these playsets and displaying it in my collection, cannot tell you how many hours I spent playing with that playset!!! I had a couple playsets combined over the years then it got thrown out:( after I moved out on my own from home, so I think it would be cool to have my new collection (First Legion) collection along with my first love Marx together under the same roof...Sammy

Sammy,

I got an original Marx Battleground playset last year.. in fact, I got it a few days before Christmas and waited until then to open it.. I post a photo in the plastics section... One of the greatest playsets of all times.. My version is from 1962-63. It still had the green and tan gis and marines.. The Germans didn't appear until 1964 I think..

Enjoy!
